The Entheo Earth Manifesto
Enthusiasm can be cultivated between people.
Entheogens are too important to be reduced to drugs, products, trends or secrets.
They exist within larger relationships: between people and plants, fungi and ecosystems, traditions and communities, science and uncertainty, risk and responsibility, spirit and the human desire for meaning.
We gather to understand those relationships.
Each gathering is dedicated to awareness of one entheogen. We approach it through music, conversation, ecology, cultural knowledge, contemporary research and psychedelic risk reduction.
When an entheogen belongs to a living Indigenous tradition, we seek to learn with people connected to that tradition — not merely speak about them. Some knowledge may be shared. Some may remain protected. Both deserve respect.
We welcome scientific evidence without pretending science has answered every question. We welcome spiritual possibility without demanding belief. We acknowledge potential benefits without hiding uncertainty, contraindications or psychological risk.
We do not believe any substance, treatment or wellness practice should become the answer to every human problem. We remain open to verified paths of well-being while preserving discernment.
Each gathering opens with a talk on the featured entheogen before the dancing begins.
The gatherings are free because awareness should not depend on a person’s ability to pay.
No one is required to donate, disclose personal experiences, adopt an identity or accept a system of belief. All donations support the Entheology Project’s psychedelic risk-reduction efforts.
Music gives us a reason to gather beyond the subject itself. It allows strangers to move together, speak openly and discover what they may have in common.
We believe enthusiasm can be cultivated between people.
A person who has more hope, curiosity, courage or joy can bring those qualities out in someone else. A community can help people remain enthusiastic about life without denying how difficult life can be.
We come for the music.
We gather for knowledge.
We hold space for one another.

FAQ
Questions people actually ask
The word “entheogen” was coined in 1979 by a group of scholars including Carl A. P. Ruck and R. Gordon Wasson, from the Greek éntheos (“full of the divine, inspired”) and genesthai (“to come into being”) — literally, that which generates the divine within. In its broadest sense, an entheogen is anything that awakens or inspires the divine within — by that meaning, even oxygen is an entheogen. The term does not itself establish safety, legality or benefit.
The Entheology Project is a nonprofit public-benefit organization supporting psychedelic mental wellness through education, readiness reflection, risk reduction, safe community connection and access to responsible support. All donations generated through The Entheogen Series support its psychedelic risk-reduction efforts.
Entheism is a concept introduced by Rev in his book to describe an enthusiastic, spiritually open way of living. It is not centered on taking entheogens. Its meaning is expected to be shaped over time by the behavior of people who bring greater spirit, meaning, enthusiasm, generosity and aliveness out in themselves and one another.
No. Entheism is not an organized religion, church, doctrine or required system of belief. People are not asked to convert, identify as entheists, accept Rev as a spiritual authority or abandon their existing beliefs.

It has no initiation, secret teachings, required beliefs, obedience structure, communal living arrangement, isolation requirement or obligation to give money. No. The gatherings are public music, education and community events. They are not psychedelic ceremonies, treatment sessions, retreats or facilitated-use experiences.
Many entheogens cannot be understood responsibly when separated from people and traditions that have protected knowledge about them. Whenever possible, appropriate knowledge holders are invited to lead the relevant discussion and establish boundaries around what may be shared.
